Várzea da Rainha Editores Building

Building for a “print on demand” company in the Tecnological Park of Óbidos. The final design was a response to the limitations provided by the Park building rules. To the volume defined in the building rules was applied a matter subtraction creating a more dynamic architectural system. The extracted matter provides the entrance path to the building and the porch in the upper level.

The grounding of the building materialized with pigmented concrete creates a distinction with the ground, this provides a support for the black metallic helmet made with undulating steel that is obliterated by a multitude of random windows.
